Salvex is looking for an AWS Architect that will help the organization understand best practices around advanced cloud-based solutions. You will have the opportunity to help shape and execute a strategy to build mindshare and broad use of AWS within enterprise customers. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record in software/technology sales or consulting, building solutions using the Cloud.

This position is fully remote.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for scope, defining, and designing solution offerings; driving end-to-end technical solutions
  • Design Native Cloud Application Architectures or optimize applications for AWS
  • Analyze customer technology, define business requirements, and participate in risk analysis;
  • Drive engagements related to assessing, refactoring, and identifying opportunities for existing applications to take advantage of modern application architectures (e.g. microservices, containers)
  • Understand and champion cloud lifecycle management
  • Define and enforce AWS Well-Architected pillars: operational excellence, security, reliability, performance efficiency, and cost optimization

Job requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar
  • 6+ years of hands-on AWS experience
  • Background solving real-world problems for industrial businesses
  • Significant experience in cloud architecture and technical implementation
  • Experience deploying microservices into containers
  • Deep understanding of AWS components and be well versed with the AWS well-architected framework and can apply those principles while designing a solution
  • Ability to clearly present concepts and Cloud Managed Services products to internal and external clients
  • Knowledge of best security practices centered around cloud


  • English proficiency (writing and speaking)
  • Good communication skills, both in verbal and writing
  • Experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking
  • Working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly
